Midjourney develops AI art generation tools to help humanity explore new mediums of thought. We helped Midjourney design, deploy, and manage a customized Slurm-GCP cluster with Weka filesystem to train AI models at a massive scale to generate artwork from text.

Fluid Numerics has more than 10 years of experience in high performance computing and scientific computing. Academic Research
Fluid Numerics staff hold advanced degrees in their fields of study; this currently includes Applied Mathematics with emphasis on Geophysical Fluid Dynamics. We aim to allocate a portion of our time in basic academic research by participating in government funded research programs. For academic research, we offer non-profit DCAA compliant rates. This means that academic research projects are billed using our direct labor rates with small F&A overhead rates that are only possible with a lean and talented group like Fluid Numerics.

Fluids Modeling & Physical Oceanography
Fluid Numerics staff have more than a decade of research experience in observational and computational fluid dynamics, with an emphasis on physical oceanography. We have been developing and operating our own in-house (and open-sourced) solvers based on Spectral Element Methods (SEMs) for the last 5 years and have experience transitioning research software into operations.
